UV Pure Technologies Appoints New Director of Operations

Nov. 21, 2006

UV Pure Technologies has welcomed Barry Bristow to the UV Pure team as director of operations. Bristow was most recently chief operating officer of Coretec, Inc., one of Canada’s leading circuit board manufacturers. He was co-founder of Coretec, and served as vice president of manufacturing prior to his role as COO there. Before his tenure with Coretec, Bristow had increasingly responsible manufacturing management roles with leading Canadian technology companies.

“Barry’s skills and experience are invaluable as we ramp up our in-house product development and production activities with new product lines. Barry is a “hands on,” results oriented manager, and a welcome addition to our team,” said Rick VanSant, president and CEO.

Bristow said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to help develop this world class operation. I am thoroughly impressed with the company’s technology, their sales team and their operations. I am looking forward to fine tuning the productions operations and getting it into position for producing a wider range of new product lines in the future.”
