Purolite Adjusts Price for Ion Exchange, Catalyst, Adsorbent & Specialty Resins

Nov. 6, 2006

Due to sustained high costs for raw materials and energy, Purolite, the largest privately held ion exchange, catalyst, adsorbent and specialty resin manufacturer, increased its prices worldwide for all products. The increases range from 4 to 7%, depending on the product line.

“Significant increases in both raw materials and the energy demands on our manufacturing facilities have forced this price increase,” said Mr. Stefan Brodie, president and CEO. “We resisted this action as long as we could.”
