GE Water and Process Technologies Welcomes Maskara

Alok Maskara has accepted the position as General Manager of the Residential and Commercial Group of GE Water and Process Technologies.

Maskara joins GE Water and Process Technologies from GE Corporate Initiatives Group (CIG) where he led the lean showcase initiatives across GE for the past two years. In that role, Maskara worked with many different GE businesses including GE Water, Consumer Finance, Healthcare and C&I.

Maskara was also vice president of technology for NanoPore Inc., from 1994 to 1998, an advanced materials company, leading a team of scientists and engineers. Maskara joined the General Electric Company in December 2004. Maskara has an MBA from Northwestern, a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from University of New Mexico. He also holds nine US patents on Nanotechnology commercialization.
