Schneider Electric Water Wastewater Competency Center Sponsors Annual WEFTEC Exhibition
For the first time, the Schneider Electric Water Wastewater Competency Center will exhibit at the Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) and serve as a corporate event sponsor. The annual event is the largest water quality exhibition in North America and will be held in Dallas, Texas, on Oct. 21 to 25, 2006.
“We enjoy talking with our customers about new approaches, improved solutions and better services, and the WEFTEC conference gives us a great opportunity to share that information,” said Marvin Shotts, director of the Schneider Electric Water Wastewater Competency Center. “We want our water wastewater customers to know that the new competency center is a single resource for all their electrical distribution and automation and control needs. From integrated product design to service, our dedicated team of experts is ready to help them.”
Water Wastewater Competency Center (WWCC) specialists will be on hand at the conference to educate customers on how to improve their power distribution and automation systems. They also will be providing complimentary white papers on harmonics and arc flash, and distributing an energy audit case study that demonstrates how their power consultants helped a customer save 17% on total annual electric costs. In addition, WWCC staff will demonstrate products that manage, control and clean electrical power for smooth processes and optimum energy efficiency.
“The water wastewater environment is constantly changing, and customers are faced with reliability and interoperability challenges, as well as more stringent regulations on energy efficiency and safety,” Shotts said. “Our goal at the conference is to provide customers with information about how we can provide fully integrated electrical distribution and automation and control systems that are more energy efficient, safe and reliable.”
