Schubert Joins Black & Veatch

Black & Veatch of Overland Park, Kan., has named Bart Schubert vice president of corporate development to further the strategic business and geographic growth of the company.

In this newly created position, Schubert will be responsible for developing elements of value creation and innovation into the strategic planning process across the company’s business lines.

"Bart's experience in strategy facilitation, business development and process optimization make him a solid fit for this new role," said Len Rodman, chairman, president and CEO of Black & Veatch. "The markets we serve are experiencing robust growth and expanding our strategic development focus is vital in addressing these immense business opportunities."

Schubert was previously with Black & Veatch from 1989 through 1996. In addition, he has served in planning, marketing and business development roles for other leading service providers. Schubert has a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
