ARCADIS Adds Bowen as Senior Hydrologist for Texas Operations

Leland Bowen, P.E., CFM, has joined the ARCADIS Texas Operations as senior hydrologist. Bowen transferred from the ARCADIS Tucson, Ariz. office.

Bowen will perform land development design, as well as hydrology and hydraulics modeling on land development, transportation, environmental and water resource projects throughout Texas. He will be responsible for interpreting and executing project assignments, developing engineering plans, defining scopes of work, and implementing dynamic concepts and approaches to solve complex problems for ARCADIS clients.

“The addition of Bowen will greatly aid us as ARCADIS continues to expand its presence in Texas markets with his vast experience in hydrology and hydraulics design, project coordination, and state and federal agency interface,” said Bill Kallas, ARCADIS Texas area manager.

Bowen has 35 years of broad-based experience, with more than 20 years of project management experience for clients in private industry and government business sectors. He served as senior project manager for the Countywide Watershed Master Plan of the Harris County, Texas Flood Control District (HCFCD). He also served as the mapping coordinating contractor to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
