Todd S. Hill, P.E., Appointed Principal Engineer/Project Manager at MACTEC

Todd S. Hill, P.E., has been named principal engineer/project manager at MACTEC Engineering & Consulting (MACTEC E&C). Bruce C. Coles, president of MACTEC E&C and chairman and CEO of MACTEC, Inc., the holding company, made the announcement.

Hill is based in the firm’s Kennesaw office. He is managing a number of key civil/site design and regional mixed-use development projects.

“Todd brings to MACTEC more than 21 years of civil/site design project management experience and has supervised significant projects for private sector clients and numerous city, state and federal agencies,” said Kennesaw Vice President/Office Manager David Goershel.

Hill has served as senior project manager and project manager for large civil engineering firms in Atlanta. He managed teams of engineers and designers preparing civil/site plans for commercial, office, institutional and municipal projects. Key projects he has managed include:

-- Center for Disease Control (CDC), West Campus, Atlanta – Site engineering planning and design for the 19-acre expansion site adjacent to the existing campus;

-- Fort Rucker Water Line Replacement and Upgrade, Fort Rucker, Ala. – Provided design to upgrade/replace water lines on the U.S. Army base at Fort Rucker;

-- Emory University, Atlanta, Ga. – Site engineering design for the Woodruff School of Nursing, Whitehead Research Facility, Winship Comprehensive Cancer Institute and the Miller-Ward Alumni House;

-- Dick Creek Water Reclamation Facility, Reuse Pumping Station, Forsyth County, Ga. – Design of two force mains, two pump stations for Georgia Water Services. Design consisted of a 2,000-ft corridor containing force mains, reuse water pipes and winter discharge pipes; and

-- Altamonte Mall, Altamonte Springs, Fla. – Consisted of a major box expansion requiring permitting agency approvals and numerous utility coordination issues. Included civil site design, grading, water, sewer, storm water runoff, parking and erosion control.

Hill received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. He is a registered professional engineer in Georgia and Mississippi.
