University of Michigan Offers Executive Master’s Program in Environmental Health Sciences

June 12, 2006

NSF International has announced a unique master’s degree program in public health at the University of Michigan. The Executive Master’s Program offers mid-career environmental health practitioners, industrial hygienists, safety professionals and occupational physicians the flexibility to continue working while pursuing advanced study. Graduates earn a fully accredited Masters of Public Health (MPH), taught by the same professors and instructors and meeting the same curriculum objectives and competencies as highly regarded residential programs.

The on-campus component of this 20-month program consists of eleven 3.5-day (Thursday through Sunday) class sessions in Ann Arbor held every other month. Between on-campus sessions, participants learn through customized distance education technologies including online live audio/video conferences and offline self-paced instruction. Applications for Fall 2006 for both the residential and Executive Masters can be submitted online.
