ADI and Watts Sign Distribution Agreement
ADI Intl., Inc., a privately held firm headquartered in Fredericton, Neb., and Watts Water Technologies of North Andover, Mass., announced the two firms have entered into an agreement whereby Watts Water Technologies will become the exclusive distributor in the U.S. for MEDIA G2 arsenic reduction media.
The U.S. EPA has reduced the acceptable level of arsenic in drinking water across the U.S. to 10 ppb (from 50 ppb), effective January 2006.
“We feel this agreement presents an excellent opportunity for our company to meet our customer’s requirements for water quality improvement in specialty applications,” said Neal DeLettre, general manager of Watts Water Quality & Conditioning Products. “We plan to market MEDIA G2 and associated equipment through our authorized dealers, who have been thoroughly trained on the technology, and we plan to stock MEDIA G2 in our three distribution centers to service customers on a local basis.”
“MEDIA G2 has proven to be an excellent way to reduce arsenic in water. We look forward to bringing this technology to more communities across North America to help with the challenge of meeting new, lower EPA rules regarding the acceptable concentration of Arsenic in water,” said Hollis Cole, president of ADI Intl., Inc.
Watts Water will offer MEDIA G2 and equipment for the reduction of arsenic in water for commercial, municipal and residential applications. MEDIA G2 is NSF certified; it complies with FDA regulations; and it is performance-verified by the ETV program in both the U.S. and Canada.
