RG Global Lifestyles, Inc. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aquair, Inc., has signed a letter of intent to partner with Roam Chemie, a privately-held industrial chemical company located in Belgium, to market a select group of their proprietary chemical compounds and unique water treatment products worldwide. Dr. Dirk Vanden Berghe, an expert in the development and application of pharmaceutical science as it is applied to water treatment, and Apcan Distributors, a privately held Nevada distribution company, are also parties to the letter of intent.
Roam Chemie is the producer of Aquair's VX-5 broad-spectrum microbial disinfectant spray product. The VX-5 product is designed to kill up to a stage 5 airborne virus (Avian Flu). Aquair will offer it as an attachment to the Munters/Aquair air-to-water technology products. The VX-5 solution is currently being used to dissolve slime in air conditioning units in Europe and to disinfect hospital operating rooms. Tests are also being conducted on shrimp farms using the VX-5 product to kill bacteria and viruses in the water and to stop the spread of the bird flu virus. The Center for Disease Control states that the bird flu virus is "the single largest threat to humanity. VX-5 is safe, environmentally friendly, has no smell or taste and leaves no
residual effect.
Berghe is a professor on the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. He is the holder of various international patents on antimicrobial compounds and food supplements, has authored more than 250 international publications and is recognized as an expert on the biological activities of natural compounds. In addition to providing his continued support of Roam Chemie, Berghe is interested in providing his proprietary formulas and continued research and development to the Aquair marketing partnership.
