WQA and Illinois Department of Public Health Offer NTNCPWS Courses

The Water Quality Association is pairing up with the Illinois Department of Public Health to offer opportunities for nontransient, noncommunity public water systems (NTNCPWS) operators to fulfill their certification obligation. Each course will consist of 12 hours of instruction followed by an examination.

Initial course offerings will be February 9-10, March 2-3 and April 20-21 at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Wheaton, Ill. Courses will also be offered April 10-11 at the Holiday Inn in Peoria, Ill.

Registration is $300 per person, which includes a course book, lunch on the first day of training, breakfast both days and administration of the exam session. State reimbursement information will be available on site.

All courses are eligible for Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner (LEHP) credit hours. Class sizes are limited, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
