Arbor Networks, a leader in network security, announced that its customer American Water, the largest water services provider in North America, has been honored with an InfoWorld 100 Award for its innovative use of Arbor Peakflow X, Arbor Networks' internal intrusion prevention solution (IPS). As a solution, Arbor Peakflow X offered American Water the concise detection of spyware, phishing, pharming, zero-day attacks and propagating worms without false positives.
