NIKKISO Pumps America, Inc. is pleased to announce the following additions to its management team supporting the Nikkiso Non-Seal® Pump and Metering Pump lines:
Hideo Takeda is appointed as president of Nikkiso Pumps America, Inc. Takeda is a 1966 graduate of the Tokyo Institute of Technology in physics. He worked for Honda Motor Company as a Test Engineer before joining NIKKISO Co., Ltd. in 1970. Over the years, he has held several positions including control system engineer, application engineer for analytical devices, general manager of R&D Center, and managing director. Most recently, he has been president of the joint-venture company, NIKKISO ˆ YSI Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of thermistors.
Junichi Takeda (no relation to Hideo Takeda) has accepted the position of vice president. Junichi Takeda graduated from Tokyo Denki University with a degree in mechanical engineering and has been with NIKKISO Co., Ltd. since 1974. During his career, he has held many key positions with the company as design engineer for metering pumps, mechanical engineer and section manager for high-speed centrifugal pumps, Product manager for high-speed centrifugal pumps, engineering manager for the company’s Higashimurayama manufacturing facility, U.S. operations manager for metering pumps, and director of the joint-venture company NIKKISO-Sundstrand.
Shingo Fukuhara has been appointed as engineering manager. Fukuhara graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University in 1982 with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. Over the years, he has held positions as design engineer ˆ Non-Seal Pumps, technical support engineer for NIKKISO Pumps Europe Gmbh in Germany, design engineer for Non-Seal Pumps in the research and development group, and manager of the Canned Motor Pump design group.
All three men will relocate to Nikkiso Pumps America, Inc. headquarters.
