Innovative Water and Sewer Systems Adopts Name Change to Clearford Industries

July 20, 2005

Innovative Water and Sewer Systems, Inc. has undergone a name change to Clearford Industries, Inc. and has continued from the Business Corporations Act to the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA). The continuance under the CBCA and the name change were effective July 6, 2005.

The company also announced that it has been granted approval to change the symbol under which its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange from IWS to CLI. This change will come into effect with the commencement of trading on July 20, 2005.

"The Small Bore Sewer (SBS) offering, developed by Innovative Water and Sewer, has proven to be extremely reliable, scalable and economical. The inclusion of "innovative" in our name understated the demonstrated excellence of nearly 20 years of systems operation,” said Bruce Linton, CEO and president of Clearford.

“The SBS technology represents the core intellectual property of the company and all of our marketing and sales efforts are dedicated to the implementation of the SBS offering. In no case would we expect to deliver water services in the absence of the SBS system. For these reasons it was requested of, and approved by, the shareholders of the corporations at our most recent Annual General Meeting to adopt the name Clearford Industries, Inc," he said.
