U.S. Government Helps Promote U.S. Technology Firms at Europe's Largest Environmental Trade Show

U.S. environmental technology firms wishing to promote their products and services to the lucrative European market will now get a boost from the U. S. government. The U.S. Commercial Service, an arm of the U. S. Department of Commerce, is working with the Environmental Marketing Group, Inc., a private Cambridge, Mass.-based sales and marketing firm, to offer a comprehensive trade promotion program to U.S. environmental technology companies who want to participate in Pollutec 2005, Europe's largest and most prestigious environmental technology trade exhibition. The show is scheduled for Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, 2005 in the Exhibition Center, Paris Nord, Villepinte, Paris, France.

According to Steve Hillman, president of Environmental Marketing Group, the program features a turnkey booth display in the highly visible U.S. Pavilion, pre-show promotion, a market briefing, logistical and special on-site assistance, interpreters, market studies, specialized round table seminars and customized marketing assistance to participants during the show.

Both Hillman and Everett Wakai, a U.S. Commercial Service environmental technology specialist, recommend U.S. environmental companies with soil remediation and advanced potable and wastewater treatment technologies participate in Pollutec 2005 because these areas represent some of the fastest growing market segments in Europe.
