JWC Environmental and Franklin-Miller, Inc. Settle Patent Infringement Law Suit

June 11, 2004

JWC Environmental (JWCE) of Costa Mesa, California and Franklin-Miller, Inc. of Livingston, New Jersey jointly announce the settlement of a law suit for patent infringement brought by JWCE.

The suit accused certain versions of two Franklin-Miller products, the TASKMASTER 8500 and TASKMASTER TITAN, of infringing a JWCE patent (RE 37,550E) dealing with side rail technology.

Franklin-Miller, Inc. has agreed to modify the side rails of its systems to a configuration that JWCE agrees does not infringe the patent.

In return, JWCE has dropped its lawsuit. All other details of the settlement remain confidential.
