The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT), entered into an agreement with the organizers of BevExpo 2004 to become a "supporting association" of the major beverage trade event to be held in Tampa this fall.
Through the agreement, ISBT will be able to raise awareness of its services and activities among a broad range of beverage technologists across the United States and the global beverage industry. BevExpo, in turn, strengthens the ingredient technology and exciting beverage formulation aspects of its show, particularly centered in the "Technology Innovations" exhibits on the show floor.
BevExpo 2004, which will be held Sept. 29 - Oct. 1 in Tampa, Fla., is the new beverage trade show devoted to showcasing the broad innovations in equipment, ingredients and other services and supplies to the multicategory beverage industry. BevExpo is sponsored by the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers (IAFIS), the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) and Beverage Marketing Corp.
In addition, drinktec – the world's largest beverage and liquid food event held every four years in Munich, Germany – joined BevExpo last month as a marketing partner. Beverage World and Beverage Industry magazines are also supporting educational programming at BevExpo.
ISBT will have a booth at BevExpo 2004, and will hold its board meetings during the show, among other possible activities in conjunction with BevExpo. Visitors to the ISBT website, www.bevtech.org, will be able to link to the BevExpo site, www.bevexpo.com, for information on the event.
