National Water Expert Named to Lead ZENON's Global Business Development

T. David (Tim) Chinn, one of North America's leading water experts and executives, has joined ZENON Environmental as vice president of global municipal business development. In this position, Chinn will be responsible for directing ZENON's efforts to expand the use of innovative membrane technologies for municipalities around the world.

"Building on a record year of success, we are excited to have someone of Tim's stature join our executive management team," said Andrew Benedek, chairman and CEO of ZENON. "He is nationally recognized in water issues, and has been focused on the water industry both as a consultant as well as with the American Water Works Association (AWWA)."

Prior to joining ZENON, Chinn was senior vice president and national director of the drinking water program with the consulting firm HDR Engineering. He led the growth of HDR's water program to be ranked among the top ten in the nation, according to Engineering News Record magazine.

A veteran of the water industry, Chinn was with the AWWA as Assistant Director of Government Affairs in Washington, DC. He was responsible for monitoring, responding to and influencing legislative and regulatory issues affecting the nation's water utilities. He has testified before numerous Congressional and US EPA panels concerning water supplies.
