UV Pure Technologies’ Hallett 30 Achieves NSF/ANSI 55 Class A certification

Nov. 18, 2003

NSF International, the Public Health and Safety Company and global authority, which tests and certifies water related products that meet its published health and safety standards, has certified the Hallett™ 30 UV water treatment system to its highest water purification standard, NSF/ANSI 55 Class A. The Hallett 30 purifies drinking water at a maximum flow rate of 30 US gpm, and incorporates patented self-cleaning and fail-safe Crossfire Technology.

The Hallett 30 is incorporated as a primary microbiological disinfection barrier in commercial and small community applications with flow rates from 30 gpm, to as high as 500 gpm when installed in multiples

Every Hallett UV system uses dual sensors to continuously monitor lamp output and UV transmittance through the water column. The systems also have on-board visual and audible alarms, which can be remotely monitored, and a fail-safe solenoid valve with an integrated manual bypass.
