Trojan Technologies Appoints New President and CEO

Marvin R. DeVries has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Trojan Technologies Inc. He succeeds Allan G. Bulckaert who has resigned from these positions as well as from the Board of Directors.

DeVries has been with Trojan since 1988 in increasingly senior executive positions. DeVries is a Professional Engineer, holds a B.Sc. Eng. degree in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Guelph and a Masters of Engineering degree with a specialization in water and wastewater treatment from The University of Western Ontario. During his fifteen years with the company, DeVries has been instrumental in expanding the company's global sales network and building broad acceptance for UV technology. In his most recent position as executive vice president, DeVries successfully directed Trojan's Municipal and Environmental Contaminant Treatment business. He also has been a driving force within the company for continuous improvement in customer service and aftermarket support.
