The Water Service, an executive agency of the Department for Regional Development (DRD) of Northern Ireland, has licensed Axeda Systems, Inc.’s Axeda Supervisor(TM), a component of the Axeda Device Relationship Management System(TM). The Water Service, which is responsible for water quality for all of Northern Ireland, will utilize Axeda Supervisor to enable the real-time, secure monitoring and automation of its vital water treatment plants.

"The DRD delivers drinking water to more than 99 percent of households and public sewerage systems to 83 percent of households located in Northern Ireland," said Chris Guers, vice president and general manager, Europe for Axeda Systems. "By investing in the Axeda Supervisor system, DRD is now able to remotely manage their entire water treatment process, improving their ability to deliver the highest quality water product and to achieve their goals of service excellence."
