Baxter & Woodman to Design, Build Midwest Treatment Plant

At its February 10, 2003 Village Board Meeting, the Village of Park Forest, Illinois, awarded a contract to Baxter & Woodman, Inc. Consulting Engineers, to provide design and construction engineering services for its new water treatment plant.

This $15.9 million project, which replaces the existing plant, will utilize the lime-soda ash softening treatment process and be able to treat two million gallons per day. Construction is expected to begin in Spring of 2004.
