Culligan® introduced its CleanWater Home™ Program yesterday, allowing builders to offer customers water treatment product packages customized to the condition of the water supplied to the home and the personal preferences of the homeowner.
Designed as a partnership between builders and their local Culligan dealership, the CleanWater Home Program uses several steps to ensure that each home achieves the best water possible. Among them is the sampling and testing of the water supply at the building site, recommendation of the most appropriate Culligan products, and finally, the product installations – all of which are conducted by the local Culligan Man®. The program leverages the strength of Culligan's local dealer, who understands the area's water conditions and is a resource to the builder.
"Builders recognize that consumers are more focused than ever on improving their living environments," notes David Mehrbrodt, vice president of marketing at Culligan. "As water touches so many areas of daily life and so many fixtures within the home, addressing water quality during the design phase is quite appropriate and relevant for today's consumer. It's a value-add feature that most homeowners are left to address on their own following occupancy."
In conjunction with this new program, Culligan will sponsor and participate in Home Destinations 2003 at Southern Highlands in Las Vegas, part of the 2003 International Builder's Show. This 10,000-square-foot model home is designed to showcase new building technology, construction techniques and design elements. The home features various Culligan water treatment products, many of them customized to properly service a home of this size.
