Wallingford Software Achieves Highest Accreditation Level from IACET

Dec. 19, 2002
Wallingford Software's Training and Education Unit has achieved the International Association for Continuous Education and Training (IACET) highest accreditation level of ‘Authorized Provider.’ With headquarters in Washington DC, IACET is an internationally recognized non-profit association dedicated to quality continuing education and training programs that certifies education providers who meet strict continuing education guidelines.

As a result of this accreditation, Wallingford Software is now able to award Continuous Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) to Engineers who attend their many training classes, seminars, workshops and road shows around the world. CEUs and PDHs are required by Engineers in many States to renew their Professional Engineering License. One CEU is equal to 10 Professional Development Hours (PDHs).

Tony Andrews, Manager of the Technical Services Group said, "In Wallingford Software we have been confident that we consistently achieve high levels of excellence in the delivery of our training services and provide value-for-money for our customers. However, I am particularly pleased that IACET has recognized this fact and we are now able to award the added benefit of CEUs to Engineers across the world. Attending Wallingford Software training ensures that they are learning best practice modeling across the three disciplines of Water Supply, Collection Systems and River Systems using the most powerful suite of modeling software available in the water industry."
