For the first time ever, stormwater managers and surface water-quality professionals from across North America will gather and collectively focus on the unique challenges and opportunities which will be brought about by the implementation of Phase II of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program.
"The upcoming implementation of the NPDES program will take what is already a multibillion dollar industry and catapult it to an entirely higher level of compliance and expenditure for a whole new tier of operators," said Alberto Di Bella, CEO of Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. "There will be many facilities, companies, and municipalities that for the first time will be looking for innovative ways to comply with the EPA regulations. StormCon '02 provides us with an excellent format to demonstrate why we believe our technology is more efficient, less expensive, and capable of handling higher flow through rates than any other technology available today."
