At the recent American Water Works Association Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans, Louisiana, F. B. Leopold Co., Inc. of Zelienople, Pa., was presented with the Gold Best of Show award in the large booth category. The third annual contest, recognizing outstanding exhibits with Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in the small, medium and large size booth categories, was sponsored by the AWWA Manufacturers/Associates Council (MAC).
The 1200 square foot award-winning exhibit featured the theme Great Solution Providers and included graphics of Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison and their inventions/solutions along with Leopold solutions for the water and wastewater treatment industry. The Leopold booth also displayed tall graphic cube towers in the center with the company’s filtration, clarification and membrane filtration systems in graphics and models.
Award winners were announced at the Conference’s annual Water Industry Luncheon. Both Jim Farmerie, AWWA MAC chair and Marlay Price, president elect, presented Leopold with the award on Wednesday morning during the convention exhibition.
