Tetra Tech Awarded $25M Contract from LA Department of Water and Power

Tetra Tech announced today that it was awarded a $25 million, three-year consulting and engineering contract from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP).

Tetra Tech's services will help the city of Los Angeles address its many water and energy related challenges, and will improve homeland defense at the city's infrastructure.

Under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, Tetra Tech may provide a broad scope of engineering and applied science services. The public infrastructure to be addressed in the contract includes but is not limited to the Los Angeles Aqueduct System, located throughout California, and the city's power grid, located in California, Nevada and Utah.

LADWP is the largest municipally owned utility in the nation, supplying water and electricity to all residents and businesses located within the city limits of Los Angeles, and electricity to portions of the Owens Valley. The LADWP provides water and electricity to some 3.8 million residents and businesses in a 464-square-mile area.
