The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) revealed the theme to this year's annual convention, "Blazing New Trails." The IBWA 44th Annual Convention and Trade Show will be held Oct. 10–11 at the Phoenix Civic Plaza, Phoenix, Az.
Experts and analysts agree that bottled water is the "growth superstar" of the beverage category. IBWA, a central force and source of information, technology, representation and support for the bottled water industry for 44 years, will keep the momentum going as it blazes new trails for the bottled water industry.
The IBWA convention is the nation's largest bottled water event and provides an opportunity for attendees and exhibitors alike to take part in a "do-business" bottled water event. The following are some reasons to attend.
• The IBWA 2002 trade show will feature 140,000 gross square feet of exhibit space, 100 percent of which is dedicated to showcasing bottled water products, equipment and services for an international audience of bottled water professionals.
• The IBWA education program features a full schedule of technical sessions, providing cutting-edge information and training in all bottled water topics. This is a must-attend event for certified plant operators, the only national program offering continuing education to bottled water plan personnel.
• Other unique events include plant tours of state-of-the-art bottled water facilities, networking opportunities and social events where friendships can develop into business opportunities.
• Attendees will learn about the latest statistics and trends in the worldwide bottled water market than can help them grown and enhance their businesses.
