U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Awards Tetra Tech $18 Million in Watershed Contracts

Tetra Tech, Inc. has been awarded $18 million in new contracts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to plan and design a wide range of water related and infrastructure projects.

These six contracts were awarded from different districts, and together cover most of the United States. The four planning contracts and two design contracts will be used to evaluate complex water management issues including water quality and quantity, watershed usage and allocation, watershed security, and stormwater runoff control.

The four planning contracts were awarded from the Corps Districts of Sacramento, St. Paul, Omaha, and Baltimore. The two design contracts were awarded from the Mobile and Los Angeles Corps Districts. All six contracts are indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type $3 million, three-year contracts.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) provides planning, designing, building and operating of water resources and other civil works projects. These projects include navigation, flood control, environmental protection, and disaster response. The USACE also provides military construction and support services for federal agencies.
