Stenner Appoints Executive to Head Customer Outreach Program

Aug. 21, 2001

Chemical feeder manufacturer G.H. Stenner Co., Inc. appointed "Pumpy the Cat" to an executive leadership position, which will be key in its new outreach program to customers.

Pumpy will head the company's new customer outreach program, which is designed to educate industry professionals about the proper installation, service and applications of Stenner feeder pumps. The use of the new mascot is expected to teach service and installation skills more easily.

"We're very proud to have a professional of Pumpy's caliber on our team," said Time Ware, president of Stenner. "His creativity and enthusiasm will be a major asset in helping our customers take full advantage of the Stenner features that have driven our marketshare growth."

Pumpy already is appearing on posters and in other customer communication materials. Pumpy is filling three roles–as partner, service and professor.
