The Virginia Water Well Assn. (VWWA) Winter Conference will be held Feb. 19 to 19, 2016 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Richmond, Va. This three-day conference provides education through vocational and continuing education hours approved by the state department, Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations. In addition to education, a two-day trade show provides the time to meet with the manufacturers and distributors that support the water well industry throughout the year. Many manufacturers take this time to showcase products and demonstrate their purposes in the booth or outside in a designated demonstration area. The Winter Conference is also a time to recognize those within the industry through awards and acknowledge the annual VWWA $1,000 Scholarship for a rising student.
