New pump is capable of flow rates to 13,500 gal per minute and heads to 200 ft

Godwin Pumps, worldwide manufacturer and supplier of the Dri-Prime automatic self-priming pump, is debuting the newest addition to the CD series, the CD500M Dri-Prime pump in its booth (#4802) at the 82nd Annual Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Capable of flow rates to 13,500 gal per minute and heads to 200 ft, the CD500M is an automatic priming centrifugal pump suitable for a wide variety of applications requiring high volume and high head. It is a direct-drive cast iron pump with a cast chromium steel impeller designed for general pumping of solids up to 4 in. in diameter.

The venturi priming system on the CD500M provides continuous, uninterrupted operation even in intermittent dry suction conditions. In addition, its dry running, double high-pressure oil bath mechanical seal with abrasion-resistant solid silicon carbide faces enables the pump to run indefinitely without risk of overheating or failure.
