Promotions are within North American operations

Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the U.S. with 24 branch offices and a network of over 100 distributors worldwide, recently announced promotions within its North American operations.

Godwin announced the promotion of Richmond, Va., Branch Manager Mark O’Sullivan to district manager of its Richmond and Raleigh, N.C., locations. In his new role, O’Sullivan will assist Godwin’s Raleigh branch manager in monitoring day-to-day business, mentoring personnel and helping to create business growth. In addition, O’Sullivan retains responsibility for the Richmond branch.

Godwin’s Upper Marlboro, Md., branch is now headed by Tom Vance. Vance’s promotion follows on the heels of an eight-year run as one of Godwin’s top sales producers, in what has consequently become one of its most successful branch locations.

“Tom’s promotion from within is a reflection of the respect he has earned from his co-workers and within our industry. It also reflects the confidence we have in Tom’s abilities to continue the growth precedent he has set in Maryland,” said Godwin President John Michael Paz.

Jennifer Saindon has been promoted to office manager of Godwin’s Norwich, Conn., branch. Prior to joining Godwin last fall, Saindon served as a dispatcher, office coordinator, soft count supervisor, lead dispatcher and claims adjuster in her five years with Mohegan Sun Casino.

Godwin’s Helena, Mont., branch announced the promotion of Pat Redmond to service manager. Redmond joined Godwin in 2002 as a mechanic. Prior to working for Godwin, Redmond worked for five years as a Welder for ARASCO, Inc. and ten years as a millwright and mechanic for Louisiana Pacific Corp.

“These promotions reflect the opportunities for advancement at Godwin Pumps for employees who continue to contribute to our efforts to remain the world’s largest and best portable pump company,” Paz said.
