Kruger will provide two filtration units for the retrofit

Kruger Inc., a subsidiary of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, was awarded a contract to furnish a Hydrotech Discfilter system as part of the Phase 2B improvements project for the Camas, Wash., wastewater treatment facilities. Kruger will provide two Hydrotech Discfilter units along with a controls system. The system is designed to filter a peak flow of 6 million gal per day and provide an effluent total suspended solids concentration of ≤10 mg/L. The system will replace the facility’s current cloth media filtration system.

The new Discfilter system is expected to be operational by the end of 2013.
