Dewberry Promotes Katie Jones

New senior associate supports several major utility clients

Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has promoted Katie Jones, P.E., to senior associate in the firm’s Raleigh, N.C., office.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Jones’ subject matter expertise includes water and wastewater treatment, recovery, reuse, and regulatory permitting. She has performed treatability studies, modeling, operational assessments, concept and detailed designs, and full-scale optimization studies. As a client manager, she works with municipal, power, and industrial sector clients to implement creative solutions through traditional or design-build project deliveries. Jones is currently supporting several major utility clients and assisting a food and beverage client with permitting and design services for a planned production expansion.

Jones earned a master’s degree in environmental engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Professional Engineers of North Carolina, the Water Environment Federation, the Society of Women Engineers, the American Water Works Assn. and the American Society of Civil Engineers
