DVDs Feature Water Loss Control, Ozone and UV

Two new Water Supply Operations DVDs focus on water loss control and the use of ozone and ultraviolet (UV).

Water Supply Operations water loss control video introduces a new, revised water audit methodology, as well as operational tools and techniques to lower water loss rates.

Metering, leak detection, repair procedures, distribution materials, and pressure management are also covered. The DVD costs $195 for members and $295 for nonmembers.

Water Supply Operations: Ozone and UV provides operators with practical instruction about using ozone and UV for drinking water treatment.

The DVD explains basic theories of ozone and UV technologies, common applications and installations within the treatment train, maintenance, costs, and levels of disinfection that can be expected from these technologies.
