The Mueller advanced pressure management solution enables clients to remotely control and automatically optimize pressure across the entire network to minimize water loss from background leaks and bursts. The dedicated patent-protected pilot valve and system control algorithms optimize network pressure at pressure-reducing valves (PRVs) and pumping stations without introducing transients to the network.
Together with the logger, the advanced pilot valve offers a full range of control configurations, including fixed downstream pressure, client-defined flow modulation, and automatic optimisation of critical point pressures, including no-flow meter option. All of these can be scheduled and mixed in a daily time profile so that regular and irregular events can be anticipated.
