Polyethylene chemical storage tanks and containers are available from Assmann Corp. of America in capacities ranging from 40 to 12,000 gal, including a variety of chemical feed stations, double-wall tanks and secondary containment options. Facilities in Garrett, Ind., and Marshall, Texas, produce high-quality corrosion-resistant products, and from these locations Assmann can ship efficiently with on-time delivery anywhere in North America.
Assmann storage tanks and containers are constructed from virgin high-density crosslink or FDA-compliant linear polyethylene and are used to store and feed corrosive and hazardous materials. All are rotationally molded in seamless, uniformly thick, one-piece construction. Assmann linear polyethylene tanks are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61, and the NSF certifies its high-density crosslink resin tanks for chemical storage. Assmann is also ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Assmann offers a full line of products, including:
- Vertical storage tanks molded from virgin high-density crosslink or linear polyethylene with capacities from 40 to 12,000 gallons—one-piece seamless molded units, with wall thicknesses conforming to ASTM D-1998 standards for liquid storage;
- Double-wall tanks that provide protection against hazardous chemical spills with a primary inner tank and a secondary locked-on outer tank—provides a heavier-top sidewall and dome to prevent dome collapse;
- The Full Drain Outlet (FDO) assembly for tanks of 2,500 gal and larger—drains tanks without mechanically installed nozzles and can be utilized where heavy solids or salts may accumulate in the bottom; and
- Feed stations from 40 to 550 gallons for storing small amounts of liquids and other chemicals—they are lightweight, strong and easy to handle.
