Skelly and Loy Awarded PennDOT Environmental Remediation Contract

Firm to provide services throughout Pennsylvania

Skelly and Loy is happy to announce that it has recently been awarded a contract by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) to provide remediation services throughout the state. The contract period is for three years with two, one-year options for extensions, which has an estimated value of $12 million.

Skelly and Loy’s team will perform a full range of environmental remediation and investigative services on an as needed basis, including storage tank removal, replacement or corrective action services; excavation of impacted soil and buried wastes; soil and groundwater remediation; asbestos inspection and abatement; sampling and laboratory analysis; and waste survey, identification and disposal.

The contract will cover all areas within the PennDOT highway, facility property boundary or the points of compliance as defined under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act and any other applicable laws.
