HD Supply Waterworks announced it was awarded the 2011 National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) Associate Member of the Year Award at the annual NUCA Convention held in Fort Worth,Texas from March 12 to 16.
“HD Supply Waterworks has been an active and dedicated associate member since NUCA’s inception, lending strong support to our advocacy program and annual convention,” stated Ryan Schmitt, NUCA’s chairman of the board and president of Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors.
The award is given annually to one associate member that has made significant contributions to NUCA, the underground utility construction and excavation industry.
“It is an extreme honor to receive the NUCA Associate Member of the Year Award,” said Jerry Webb, CEO of HD Supply Waterworks. “Over the years, we’ve had opportunities to work with the NUCA team on legislative issues that affect our industry and assist in efforts to advance investment in water and wastewater infrastructure.”
