Aquarius Spectrum, an Israel-based technology company that provides advanced acoustic solutions for proactive early detection of water leaks, is expanding its operations in the US with the announcement of a new partnership with Everett J. Prescott, Inc. (EJP).

Founded in 1955 and employing more than 300 professionals, EJP was the first waterworks distributor north of Massachusetts to offer water main tapping and many other waterworks services. Today the company provides a large range of products and services, including water meters, piping, fittings, and maintenance, to water utilities in New England, New York, and the Midwest.

Under the distribution agreement signed by both companies, EJP will introduce and deploy Aquarius acoustic water leak detection technology in the 10 states in which they operate, enabling more water utilities to solve water loss challenges caused by hidden background leaks.

Aquarius Spectrum provides acoustic solutions that enable water utilities to proactively monitor their distribution pipe network, solve infrastructure issues, detect background leaks, reduce NRW and operational costs and assess the pipes’ condition. These solutions combine sensitive sensors powered by sophisticated algorithms, big data analysis and advanced connectivity (CAT-M/NB-IoT). By using Aquarius’ most innovative water network monitoring platform that enables accurate pinpointing of leaks and identification of poor pipe sections for renewal - water utilities improve the resiliency of their new and aging water network infrastructure.

“EJP aims to provide its US customers the best products and services. Our acquaintance with Aquarius began several years ago, during which we experienced its technological advantages and realized its business contribution to our customers. We are excited to begin this collaboration which is expected to strengthen our portfolio and provide an innovative and efficient solution to the water utilities we serve,” said Robbi Lockhart, EJP Operations Manager.

According to Naama Zeldis, CEO of Aquarius Spectrum, “Aquarius is proud of our new relationship with EJP, one of the most reputable companies in the US water industry, and one offering the highest quality solutions, backed with exceptional service. The new distribution agreement is expected to increase our foothold in the US market, which began a few years ago with Pipetools Inc., led by Mr. Jim Fay.”

Zeldis added that, "the past year demonstrated a growing need for Aquarius’ solutions in the US, where many large utilities are looking to adopt innovative solutions that enable continuous and remote monitoring of their water network. Now, with the launch of AQSense-Edge, our new Cat-M/NB-IoT sensors, combined with the new partnership with EJP, we expect a significant expansion in our US operation during 2022.”
