Three Severn Trent Services offices and a wastewater treatment facility operated by the company have received an international health and safety accolade from the British Safety Council, one of the world’s leading occupational safety, health and environmental organizations. In the U.S., facilities receiving the award were the Severn Trent Services sales and manufacturing office located in Colmar, Pa., with more than 100 employees; and the Glen Cove, N.Y. Following a comprehensive safety evaluation from world-class auditors, organizations are given star ratings from one to five to indicate the effectiveness of their safety programs. Action plans are provided to help companies reduce their insurance premiums and continually improve their programs.
