Bowen Partners with City to Improve Infrastructure

Fishers, Ind. - The Greenfield Water Utility in Greenfield, Ind. will save almost $1 million over the next 10 years in energy and operational costs at its number two water treatment facility through a program designed and implemented by Bowen Engineering.

Bowen will start the rehabilitation immediately and be substantially complete within four months. The $690,000 facility improvement project includes extensive maintenance and repair of the 30-year-old, 2-mgd water treatment plan. Bowen will repair windows, doors, painting, control enhancements, heating and air conditioning, high-service pumps, and pipes. This modernization project reflects a continued effort by the administration of the city to provide superior service to the community using innovative programs while being good stewards of ratepayer dollars.

Bowen Engineering is a 40-year-old union general contractor focusing on water, wastewater and power construction.
