Aeration System Ideal for Deep Ponds

Nov. 13, 2014
The technology can be used in industrial & municipal applications

Mazzei Injector Co.’s patented, high-efficiency, AirJection wastewater aeration technology delivers dissolved oxygen from the bottom up for complete aeration.

Wastewater is recirculated from activated sludge or sludge digester basins through high-efficiency Mazzei Venturi injectors to draw in air or concentrated oxygen and dissolve it into the wastewater without the need for blowers. The resulting gas-water mixture is returned to the basin through Mazzei Mass Transfer Multiplier Nozzles for greater oxygen transfer and basin mixing.

Unlike compressed air diffusion systems, the efficiency of Mazzei AirJection systems increases with depth, allowing for deeper ponds with smaller footprints. And with no moving parts, it is a solution that offers years of silent, trouble-free operation.

AirJection systems are an energy efficient operation with low-operating pressure and validated process water efficiencies. Mazzei’s AirJection wastewater aeration technology can be used in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment applications and is SOTR tested. Whether retrofitting a facility or building a new one, Mazzei AirJection technology works the way a system should: efficiently, effectively and reliably with a minimum of oversight.
