ACE13 in Full Swing

June 10, 2013

The 132nd American Water Works Association Annual Conference and Exposition opened doors on Sunday, June 9, as exhibitors and attendees eased into what promises to be a busy week.

Today's Opening General Session featured an address by Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper. In his keynote address, Gov. Hickenlooper discussed the Colorado Water Plan and other efforts to promote economic development. AWWA also took the opportunity to recognize distinguished industry professionals for their public service, communication and volunteering efforts in a brief award ceremony.

This year, ACE13 is expected to host more than 900 expert presenters addressing a full spectrum of issues and an exposition of 500-plus vendors. Workshops, forums, competitions, facility tours, receptions, and other learning and networking opportunities round out ACE13’s comprehensive program.

The editorial staff of Water & Wastes Digest is excited to be a part of this year's event. Be sure to visit our website for daily news updates from the show.
