Conduit Bodies Offer Wire & Cable Protection in Harsh Environments

Calbond offers a full line of PVC-coated Form 8 conduit bodies, designed for wire and cable protection in corrosive environments. These fittings feature PVC-coated cast iron covers with plastic encapsulated stainless steel screws. Additional features include sleeved threaded ends, offering complete protection against corrosion while maintaining full ground continuity throughout the installed system.

Calbond’s quality assurance and quality control procedures ensure a minimum exterior PVC coating thickness of .040 in., minimum interior urethane coating thickness of .002 in. and specialized corrosion-resistant coating applied to all threads. All Calbond Form 8 fittings are NEMA 4X-certified and UL 514B-listed, and they comply with CSA Standard C22.2 No.18.

Calbond is a division of Calpipe Industries Inc. Since 1998, Calpipe has been manufacturing a complete line of PVC-coated, stainless and rigid conduit and fittings for use in a wide range of industrial applications.
