PCI-WEDECO and WEDECO-Ideal Horizons Change Names to Build WEDECO Brand in North America

PCI-WEDECO Environmental Technologies, Inc. and WEDECO-Ideal Horizons, Inc. jointly announced that they will both change corporate names effective today.

PCI-WEDECO will change its name to WEDECO Ozone Technologies, Inc. and WEDECO-Ideal Horizons will become WEDECO UV Technologies, Inc. The purpose of the name change is to enhance the WEDECO brand in North America, one of WEDECO’s most important and fastest growing regions.

"Although the WEDECO name is well established in most of our North American market segments, our use of compound names for the past six years has prevented the brand from becoming fully developed", explained John Marrino, President of both companies. "We want to punctuate the move into our new factory and North American headquarters in Charlotte, NC by renaming each business in accordance with our global brand strategy and their specific activities, namely ozone and ultraviolet technologies."

WEDECO Ozone Technologies (WOT) is an ozone systems supplier. WOT manufactures patented Effizon® ozone generators, and designs and builds turn-key ozone treatment solutions for industrial and municipal applications. Full-service capabilities include system design, engineering, manufacture, and field support of complete ozone treatment processes. Unique capabilities such as laboratory treatability testing, field pilot plants, in-house process control programming, and full factory performance testing are just a few of the services that set WOT apart from other ozone equipment vendors.
