SPL to Highlight New Customer-Driven Asset Management Enhancements at AWWA Conference

June 5, 2006

SPL WorldGroup will demonstrate their commitment to customer needs with their introduction of the latest asset and work management product release to water services professionals at the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE), June 11 to 15, 2006 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

At Booth #2307 of the ACE06 Exhibition, conference attendees will have the opportunity to experience new functionality included in Release 1.7.5 of SPL’s Enterprise Asset & Work Management (EAM) solution. The EAM release is a direct result of customer involvement and feedback, reflecting a continuation of SPL’s “intelligent evolution” product development philosophy.

Release 1.7.5 includes numerous enhancements key to streamlining maintenance repair operations, particularly in scheduling/planning and GIS integration. Product demonstrations at ACE06 come at the heels of SPL’s largest and most successful EAM user community workshop, where the new capabilities were enthusiastically received.

“We invite the ACE06 attendees to observe first-hand why our EAM solution is relied upon by some of the nation’s leading water service organizations as their strategic tool to optimize maintenance management and asset performance,” said Dave Mulit, president of SPL Synergen, SPL’s Enterprise Asset & Work Management Business Unit. “This release is further evidence of our commitment to continually advance the ability of our customers to improve operating efficiencies through state-of-the-market software and technology, at a lower total cost of ownership.”
