Pasteurization Technology Group to Receive Innovative Technology Award

Sept. 24, 2013
The award will be presented at WEFTEC 2013

Pasteurization Technology Group (PTG) will receive the 2013 Innovative Technology Award from the Water Environment Federation (WEF). The award will be presented during a ceremony at the organization's 86th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC 2013), in October in Chicago.

The Innovative Technology Award is the award presented annually to leading companies that have introduced technologies related to the water and wastewater industries. PTG is being recognized from among many companies in the Innovative Technology category for its X-500 system, which uses waste heat from turbines or engines to disinfect wastewater while also generating electricity.

"This award from WEF, the most influential organization in the water and wastewater industry, is the strongest validation of our breakthrough technology by the leading experts in the business," said Greg Ryan, co-founder and CEO of Pasteurization Technology Group. "This award mirrors the enthusiastic response we are seeing from the municipal, agricultural, beer, food and beverage industries due to the substantial cost savings our technology provides."

Pasteurization Technology Group will be honored during WEFTEC 2013. The event is expected to host thousands of global water quality experts and exhibiting companies at Chicago's McCormick Place Oct. 5 to 9, 2013.
