Registration is now open for the U.S. Water Prize Winners Webinar Series on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m., which will recognize the National Great Rivers Research & Education Center and the Milwaukee Water Council.
The United States Water Prize Program is sponsored by the Clean Water America Alliance and seeks to honor any U.S.-based institution, organization or individual whose project or initiative represents effective innovation in ensuring water sustainability by advancing holistic, watershed-based approaches to water quality and quantity challenges.
This is the second webinar in the joint Water & Wastes Digest/Clean Water America Alliance series. In August, the city of Los Angeles was featured.
Webinar presenters include Dale T. Chapman, president of Lewis and Clark Community College and chairman of National Great Rivers Research & Education Center, and Dean Amhaus, executive director of the Milwaukee Water Council. Webinar attendees also will earn one Professional Development Hour.
